Create your profile on Strands.com. It is free and easy, here’s how…

  1. Visit www.strands.com and click the “register now” button to begin the process.
  2. Follow the simple steps in order to create your profile.

Create a video

  1. Create a video, essay, poem, blog entry or other creative work on the subject of “Why I Run” and publish the work on Strands.com. To publish your work on Strands.com, you must host it on the internet (e.g. YouTube, Blog, etc.), share it on Strands.com with your Username, and e-mail us htc@strands.com with the permalink to let us know.
  2. Your creative entry will be graded on a scale of 1 to 100 by a panel of Strands-appointed judges (composed of both employees, and non-employees).
  3. Judging criteria includes: originality, creativity, and inspirational quality.
  4. Your submission for “Why I Run” will receive 1 extra point for each successful (sent & accepted) invitation sent from your Strands.com user account.

If your creative entry receives the highest score you will win an all-expense paid trip to Oregon to participate in The Hood To Coast Relay on one of two Strands Sponsored Relay Teams.
